Local officials are issuing a public warning for wednesday May 5th to all local taxi and transportation workers. The warning comes in light of knowledge of a young male who is known to frequent the local nightclubs, is to arrive in town. This individual has a history of attacking defenseless cab drivers. He is regarded as a dangerous offender and likely to re-offend. The individual known as Patrick Kane once assaulted a minority taxi driver over 20 cents. If you should see this man. Please stay away from him and do not pick him up. Doing so would be putting your life at risk. If you should see Mr. Kane, do not approach him."It is our assessment that the public need to be armed with the knowledge of these events, so they can take the necessary steps to secure their homes, cabs, busses and vehicles.", states Ryan Kesler of the Vancouver Canucks Local Hockey club .
