Suspend him forever. This guy should never play in the best hockey league the globe has to offer. Goodbye and don't the door hit your ass on the way to prison. It won't end. This is what idiots like Cherry love even though they won't say it.
And Colin Campbell is a complete moron who doesn't know anything about hockey. I don't care when he played in the NHL.
Simon should have a lifetime ban just as McSorley should have and Dale Hunter (for the Turgeon hit) should have.
I don't get how the NHLPA can try to defend these guys in any way. What about the victims? They're in the NHLPA as well.
The NHL is a goon league with too many teams. This allows too many players (most of whom are complete hacks that should be playing in beer leagues) to be in the league.
I say disband the NHL, fuck history, and start a new league with a completely new everything.
