Steady - Steady. For those Simpsons fans out there - why are you reading this? Go to the theater for fucks sakes. This is one laugh out loud movie. It's on my Xmas list by the way if any of ya chumps are feeling generous with yer booty. Arrr!!!

I'll see it, of course. But this whole movie is a scam. They have a built in audience from nearly 20 years of fans so right there is the money.
But, what's the big deal about getting Simpsons in widescreen? There's not much they could do for a movie screen that they couldn't do on t.v. From what I've heard there's no extreme swearing or sex.
Goes to show that as long as it's big and fat the Americans will love it.
But you'll see it of course.
Speaking of big and fat - Comic Book Guy's ratio to the other characters is spooky. The panoramic shots do, in fact, add to the film - the widescreen brings more of a reality and vastness to Springfield that hasn't been seen yet. And this non-American loved it.
Therzo where is you open letter to the USA that you promised us??
