Never thought I'd say this - but fuck off Tiger!
DETROIT — The PGA Championship at Oakland Hills, Mich., is two months away, but Tiger Woods took the first unofficial shot of the tournament Monday when he teed off on Hockeytown.
During a news conference at Oakland Hills Country Club, where Woods appeared via satellite, the two-time defending champion was asked whether he was rooting for the Red Wings or the Pittsburgh Penguins in Game 5 of the Stanley Cup finals Monday night at Joe Louis Arena.
Woods chuckled at the question. Then he let 'er rip.
"I don't really care," he said with an impish smile. "It's all about the Dodgers. I don't think anyone really watches hockey anymore."

DRo -- get over it...you have to admit the NHL hockey season is too long.....no one really wants to be watching hockey in June (do they??).
And for the what I see from the average Vancouver fan, it seems that they don't watch hockey at all once the Canucks are eliminated from (or don't make it into) the playoffs.
I have to say he may be right. I've watched a bit of the finals, but only because I'm a shut in right now. Hockey should be over by early May at the latest, and quite frankly, it's boring as fuck nowadays.
I feel it's a bit like men's tennis. The game is too fast now. It was better when the players were smaller and the equipment was less "advanced".
Tiger may be wrong about it being all about the Dodgers, but only because it's all about the Brewers.
I'll admit the season is WAY too long, and going three days between games to bow down to NBC ain't helping matters: just disappointed that Tiger sees fit to dis a sport that's already barely hanging on south of the border. Just like his sport was before he came along to blow us all away.
I agree with the KB. Tiger is a bit of a dork. Whatever you think about hockey the players are the classiest of the pro sports. Can you imagine Wayne or Mario saying something like this ?
I bet Tiger ate some beets. That is what made him say such a thing.
Beets do that to you.
