Lucky bastard. Nah, I'm sticking with the Nucks, its just good to follow the local team. And I must say, they're playing a pretty good brand of hockey.
I was an Islanders fan before a Canucks fan. And honestly, the Flames are just a better run organization. The Canucks have been floundering for years; thankfully Roberto Luongo is giving them a solid base to rebuild from.
As for Luongo, I traded Dipietro and a 3rd and 4th round pick to the Canucks for Luongo and a 1st round pick. He's still only won me one out of four games since the trade.
I know what you mean. I was a Habs fan first. I think I picked the Habs because I liked the colour red. And probably to spite my dad. We moved to BC in 81 or 82 and then the Canucks indoctrination began.
So you can accuse me of taking the soft option going with the Habs right now, but as Jerry says we're only cheering for shirts and I'm just going local.
